About Florence
I paint intuitively and I find inspiration both from the inside and outside and use psychology to create a twist in the painting. There is often a dispute or a play in my paintings, the humor can also be found and solutions to difficult decisions. I paint both with acrylic, oil and draw with watercolor and marker.
I started painting in 2006 and I had my first exhibition in 2007 and the last was in 2012. I had a gallery in Aarhus C from 2009 to 2012, where I had solo exhibitions with my own art, but mostly other artists also exhibited as guest artists at the gallery.
Although I no longer own a gallery or hold exhibitions, I draw and paint all the time - and have developed my own style, where I use both drawing, watercolor and marker and other things, in the same picture. Sometimes I paint on canvas with acrylic/oil paint.
